Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a 324-bed long-term care community dedicated to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are currently seeking caring, dependable, and team-oriented Part-Time Dietary Aides to join our Dietary Services team.

As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meal service, maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment, and providing friendly, courteous service to our residents. This position offers varied shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal tray preparation, delivery, and collection.

  • Serve meals in accordance with residents' dietary needs and preferences.

  • Set up and clean dining rooms before and after meals.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following sanitation standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.

  • Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation policies.

  • Work collaboratively with the Dietary Services team to provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Previous dietary, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

  • Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, rehabilitation, or senior living setting is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

  • Ability to follow directions and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and lifting.
