Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time school psychologist position is based in the Phoenix, Arizona area and offers contract assignments for the 2026-2027 school year, from early August to late May. Assignments are with a public school district serving elementary and high school students, with caseloads averaging around 60 students and approximately 12 evaluations per week. The role involves working across multiple school sites, with schedules varying from part-time up to full-time depending on the assignment. Opportunities include positions at several elementary schools and a high school, as well as a potential private day placement.
Key responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations primarily using pen and paper methods, collaborating with educators and support staff, and utilizing district platforms such as Google Suite and Synergy for documentation and communication. Self-motivation and the ability to quickly adapt to the districts environment are essential.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Arizona Department of Education Certification in School Psychology
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working with school-aged children across elementary and secondary levels
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy platforms preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and evaluation skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage caseloads effectively
