The Receiver / Shipper Clerk is an integral part of the team. The team member may receive products from vendors and customers during the morning hours. Later in the day, the team member may reverse the process by shipping products to our vendors and customers. At all times, a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail is required.
The focus of the position will be on the fulfillment process. In the aerospace industry, there is no second chance. Every transaction must be handled with upmost care and transparency. To ensure compliance, all applicants will spend a minimum of 90 days learning our culture, processes, policies, and customer offerings. The position will work in a team environment which will include Supply Chain, Sales, and Accounting. The position does require a broad knowledge of the overall operation. We do require work experience in either the commercial, the business aviation market, or warehousing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receive all packages in a timely basis.
· General inspection of trace paperwork, packaging, and product.
· Storage of products.
· Maintain all documents in accordance with company policies and FAA requirements.
· Package all products for shipping using IATA standards.
· Prepare all documentation and labels for shipments with Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, or courier service.
· Handle hazardous material and international shipments according to regulations.
· Perform periodic inventory counts weekly, monthly, and annually.
· Manage inventory of consumable products used for shipping.
· Coordinate with internal departments any unique customer requirements.
· Participate in team projects.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the US.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Minimum of a high school or GED degree required.
· Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software offerings required.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for periods of time.
· Experience shipping commodity domestic and international via FedEx, UPS or DHL.
· Understanding of Export Compliance Regulations
· Experience shipping hazardous commodity (hazmat certified preferred).
· Forklift Certified (preferred).
