Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school setting located in Lees Summit, MO. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and documentation as required
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans as necessary
- Provide services that may require travel between schools within the district or area
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
- Willingness to travel as assignments require
