Take the Lead on Patient Care: Medication Coordinator Nurse
Greensburg Family Practice - Full-Time (32-40 hrs/wk)

What You'll Do: The Impact
This is more than just processing refills—you are the central coordinator for our patients' medication continuity.
- Own the Refill Process: Promptly review, verify, and process all medication refill requests (patients, providers, and pharmacies) while ensuring 100% accuracy of dosage, route, and frequency.
- Ensure Clinical Compliance: Evaluate refill requests for clinical appropriateness, coordinating necessary lab work and follow-up appointments required by clinic policy.
- Promote Safety: Actively review and apply clinic policies regarding pain management and controlled substances, utilizing the Kansas Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (K-TRACS) as required.
- Be the Patient Liaison: Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients regarding their refill status, scheduling needs, and required next steps.
- Coordinate Logistics: Facilitate medication prior authorizations with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies.
- Maintain Integrity: Ensure all documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) is accurate, thorough, and up-to-date.
What You'll Bring: Your Qualifications
We're looking for an experienced nurse with strong clinical skills and exceptional organizational abilities.
Required Credentials
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Kansas License to practice professional nursing (LPN or RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One (1) year of licensed nursing experience is required.

- Detail-Oriented: A proven ability to follow instructions exactly and record information with precision.
- Proactive: Self-confident, enthusiastic, and able to work well without direct supervision, effectively managing and prioritizing tasks.

Position is Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
Set wage at $25 per hour for LPN and $30 per hour for RN
