Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing speech-language support in an elementary school setting, this part-time contract position focuses on delivering direct services to a diverse caseload of 20 students. The role requires a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification (CCC) and school-based experience. Located in Minneapolis, MN, candidates in the surrounding areas including 55101, 55121, 55132, and 55147 are encouraged to apply. The contract spans the current school year, starting immediately through June 12, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy primarily to students with multiple disabilities, where speech impairment is often a secondary concern.
  • Provide direct one-on-one and group services to 2-3 students identified with speech-language impairment.
  • Support both resource and self-contained classrooms within the elementary school.
  • Manage documentation, paperwork, and participate in meetings, with flexibility for remote completion.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to tailor interventions that meet individual student needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working in school settings with children, particularly elementary-aged.
  • Ability to provide effective therapy to students with multiple disabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills to balance direct services and administrative responsibilities.
  • Availability to work approximately 16 hours per week, arranged in two eight-hour days.
  • Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Vocational Observation (VOCO) are not eligible at this time.
