A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Machine Operator 1, in Columbus, NE. The Operator will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.

Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights:

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 6am-6pm rotating shift (2-2-3)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine production functions, including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision
• Maintain accurate records and logs in compliance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization)
• Work effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives
• Follow standard operating procedures and make effective decisions within position requirements
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience:
  • 6 months to 1 year of work experience preferred
  • Ability to develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis
