United Bags, Inc. is a stable, 5th-generation family-owned company serving industrial customers nationwide. We're growing and looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our daily office operations and help keep the business running smoothly.
What This role is/ is not
Is: Office Administration, sales support, customer coordination
Is not: Cold calling, direct selling, commission- based work, or quote driven sales.
What You'll Focus On (Top Priorities)

Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails professionally

Maintain accurate customer information and activity in our ERP system

Support sales and internal teams with customer follow-ups and tracking

Process credit card payments accurately and in compliance with company procedures

Assist with day-to-day office operations (mail, supplies, documents)
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for calls, email, and correspondence

Sort, distribute, and send incoming/outgoing mail

Prepare business documents, reports, and presentations (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed

Support online order activity and basic updates within our e-commerce platform (training provided)

Research potential customer leads and assist with sales tracking and follow-ups

Provide general administrative support to management and staff

Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support office operations
What You BringRequired
-
1+ year of administrative or office support experience
-
Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
-
High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

Professional phone and email communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured office environment
Preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience

Experience with ERP, CRM, or order-entry systems

Experience processing payments or supporting customer transactions

Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or B2B environments
