A leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsible for managing and directing all pharmacy operations at a dedicated home infusion pharmacy location. This role demands strategic oversight to ensure business growth, regulatory compliance, and financial stability, while providing essential guidance and support to pharmacy personnel.

Job Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: Day shift with 24-hour on-call direction for pharmacy staff and services
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain adequate staffing to ensure uninterrupted pharmacy operation hours
- Perform pharmacist duties as needed to support daily pharmacy functions
- Oversee dispensing of pharmaceutical products, ancillary supplies, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating pharmacy policies and procedures
- Direct orientation and ongoing training of pharmacy staff
- Participate in inspections, survey readiness, and accreditation processes
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and manage administrative tasks including filing and documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.S. or PharmD from an accredited Pharmacy School
- Active Iowa Pharmacist License; additional state licenses advantageous
- Minimum of 4 years recent clinical pharmacy experience
- Required experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
- Preferred: 2+ years recent clinical pharmacy management experience
- Familiarity with CPR+ software is a plus

- A competitive salary package is offered, with the Iowa license fee covered
