We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to efficiently manage the unloading, loading, and organization of smaller parts in our warehouse. This role involves using a standard sit-down forklift to move parts and boxes, pulling parts for departmental use, and tracking inventory with a unique system.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and load smaller parts from trucks.
  • Sort and organize parts within the warehouse.
  • Operate a standard sit-down forklift to transport items.
  • Pull parts from the warehouse for departmental use.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using a tracking system.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in forklift operation.
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Skilled in shipping and receiving operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong writing skills for inventory tracking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Experience in order picking and warehouse inventory control.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted both outside in the yard and inside the shop, subject to weather conditions. The day shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday work as needed. Employees should be open to rotating to a second shift for short periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77064.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
