We are seeking a Medical Assistant, in Orthopedic Surgery, to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical office running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures.
• Answering phones and communicating with patients.
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff.
• Maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
• Explaining procedures and treatment plans to patients.
• Handling billing and insurance paperwork.
• Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and organized.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Orthopedics a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to effectively interact with patients, surgeons, and staff.
• Compassion, empathy, and the ability to make patients feel comfortable.
• Strong attention to detail is crucial for managing complex schedules and sensitive information.
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Athena is a plus.
