Job SummaryInnovative PR is looking for a charismatic Public Relations Account Executive for our Beauty & Lifestyle Team with a proven track record of planning and executing PR strategies to secure press, experience communicating with talent agents for social and celebrity deals, and a knack for event coordination. The ideal candidates will have excellent written communication skills, a strong understanding of the media landscape, and a passion for helping clients amplify their brand presence. Key ResponsibilitiesThe Public Relations Account Executive Responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):

  • Serve as a primary client contact with the proven ability to manage and drive multiple client account programs and teams delivering strategic value
  • Directly manage day to day activities on client accounts and lead regular conference calls
  • Plan, develop and advise clients on integrated and measurable PR initiatives
  • Advise clients on positioning and messaging
  • Daily press interaction; nurture and develop strong relationships with key editors across all channels via regular communication and media meetings
  • Draft media and client materials such as press releases, bios, talking points, and media alerts
  • Delegate duties and review the work of supporting team members (i.e. press materials, pitches, reports, etc.)
  • Brainstorm creative partnership and activation ideas for clients as well as new business opportunities
  • Develop full launch strategies surrounding client partnerships and activation
  • Manage planning and execution of client events (i.e. staffing, production, invite outreach, budget, etc.)
  • Multitask across multiple client accounts and projects under deadline, manage client timelines and budgets
  • Ensure that key milestones and projects are on track, within prescribed timelines and on budget, etc.)
  • Work with Influencer Team to provide recommendations and outreach for brand partnerships need be
  • Stay on top of entertainment and celebrity tastemakers for partnership advisory of brand campaigns
  • Track industry trends and identify relevant opportunities for clients
  • Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Assist in the development of proposals for new business presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience working with beauty and lifestyle brands in house or at a public relations agency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace products (Sheets, Slides, Spreadsheets)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with editorial outreach and editor relationships
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with Influencers and/or Influencer marketing campaigns
  • Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful client campaigns
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to craft compelling stories and communicate effectively with clients, media, and team members
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with client objectives and market opportunities
  • Proficiency in PR tools (i.e. Muck Rack, Cision)
