UCT is looking for a talented Inventory Control Specialist III to join us in Phoenix, AZ!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages inventory programs, including inventory estimates and analyses, maintenance of metrics tracked, reporting to management, and resolution of inventory issues that arise
- Pro-Actively increases turns by customer product and meets corporate goals
- Provides recommendations for purchasing strategies, inventory disposition, and inventory management
- Provides recommendations for improved planning and demand management solutions to mitigate inventory growth
- ECN control and disposition follow up for affected material
- Final review and reconciliation of work order variance and closure
- Coordinates product transfers to other company manufacturing sites

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong presentation skills at all levels
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Strong Excel and Access skills – Expert level preferred
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP system – SAP Preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across many levels of the organization, and on inter-site basis
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/equivalent experience
- APICS certification preferred
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
- 8+ years inventory analyst experience. Cost accounting experience strongly preferred. Manufacturing experience as scheduler, planner or buyer a plus.
