Job Title: Payroll Clerk (Entry-Level)
Location: Conshohocken, PA – 100% Onsite

Pay: $24 – $26/hour

Addison Group is partnering with a growing construction services company to hire an Entry-Level Payroll Clerk. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working independently in a structured environment.
Job Description:
This role is responsible for supporting the weekly payroll process for field employees, ensuring accurate timesheet data entry, and assisting with basic administrative tasks related to payroll and employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter weekly time data for approximately 30+ field employees
- Assist in processing payroll and creating reports using Sage 50 (Peachtree)
- Verify timesheets in coordination with managers and supervisors
- Maintain payroll spreadsheets and accurate employee data
- Support weekly union payroll reporting requirements
- Transfer payroll information to the accounting system
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, document prep, and data entry
- Provide general support to the payroll and HR team as needed
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of office or administrative experience preferred
- Prior exposure to union payroll or construction industry is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Sage 50 a bonus
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- No degree required
- Must live within 30 minutes of Conshohocken (no candidates commuting from Philadelphia)
