Job Description

The Program Director oversees the planning, execution, and growth of Gator Junior Golf’s youth programs, year round. This role manages instructors and ensures participants receive high quality instruction. Our classes primarily operate for a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays during the spring and fall golf seasons. During the summer, we operate a tournament series on Mondays and two hour summer camps during the summer weekdays. The role is flexible on weekdays and the expected work is 20 hours per week, year round. The role will be expected to be present to perform supervisor duties at golf class on the golf course and the weekday administrative responsibilities can be done from home.


Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage junior golf classes, camps, and clinics
  • Implement the program’s curriculum integrating golf, literacy, math, and life skills
  • Supervise instructors and volunteers
  • Coordinate scheduling, equipment, and participant enrollment
  • Build partnerships with schools, golf facilities, and community organizations
  • Support program growth and community outreach


Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth programs, events, sports instruction or education
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Passion for youth development and golf
  • Entry-level, basic golf knowledge or coaching experience preferred
