LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join a wonderful non-profit in Downtown Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute full-cycle multi-state payroll processing

Oversee employee benefits administration
-
Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and documentation

Ensure HR compliance with all applicable federal and state labor laws

Support and drive performance management processes
-
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals

Provide employee support and foster a positive working environment
-
Prepare internal HR documentation and reports
-
Maintain and analyze employee data using HRIS systems
-
Stay current on HR trends and best practices
Required Skills & Competencies:
-
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
-
Strong time management and conflict resolution abilities
-
Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HR/payroll platforms
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and maintain confidentiality
-
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
-
Strong organizational and analytical skills
-
Knowledge of conflict management and employee relations best practices
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior-level generalist or equivalent role
-
Experience managing multi-state payroll and benefits strongly preferred
-
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
