We're seeking a General Laborer to join our team in Newaygo, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to build quality wood door frames from start to finish.What You'll Be DoingAs a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Door Frame Production: Helping build quality wood door frames from start to finish. This can involve repairing and sanding boards, building doors, machine work, and packaging/assembling.
- Repetitive Tasks: Performing repetitive tasks as part of the production process to maintain efficiency.
In addition, you will also be expected to work as a team and be able to work overtime and weekends when needed.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Quick learner
- Able to work as a team
- Able to do repetitive tasks
- Able to lift 25 pounds max, more frequently 10 pounds
- Able to work overtime and weekends when needed
Skills:
- Hand Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using hand tools for various production tasks.
- Physical Stamina: Able to bend and stretch during the entire shift.
- Measurement Skills: Able to read and use a tape measure for accurate work.
- Math Skills: Good math skills for measurements and general production tasks.
