Job DescriptionJob Title: Supply Chain Administrator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm (1-hour lunch)
Compensation: $24.75–$26.25 per hour
Location: York, SC 29745Position Summary
The Supply Chain Administrator plays a key role in supporting PIV Fleet Management and Supply Chain Operations at the site. This position is responsible for documenting business processes, maintaining accurate inventory and training records, administering specialized operational systems, supporting routine administrative functions, and contributing to annual physical inventory activities.Key Responsibilities
1. Process Observation & Documentation
- Shadow key personnel to observe and document business processes, ERP transactions, and work practices.
- Develop comprehensive, site-specific work instructions, including step-by-step procedures and annotated screenshots.
2. Data Entry & Record Maintenance
- Under moderate supervision, enter and maintain data in ERP systems and databases.
- Ensure inventory, stock status, and training records are accurate.
- Retrieve and analyze data to address inventory, customer order, and operational inquiries.
3. System Administration & SOP Development
- Serve as the site administrator for forklift telemetry systems and SharePoint repositories.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions related to system use, data integrity, and governance.
4. Administrative & Reporting Support
- Perform routine administrative tasks per established procedures.
- Gather requirements for, prepare, and present standard reports.
- Support team training and process knowledge transfer.
5. Transactional Support
- After training, execute assigned ERP and software transactions to support daily operations.
6. Physical Inventory Support
- Participate in the annual inventory process (including prep, counting, and reconciliation).
Other Key Duties
- Receive, label, and store incoming goods; optimize warehouse space usage.
- Operate warehouse equipment to pick, pack, and ship products.
- Conduct quality checks and control non-conforming material.
- Respond to customer queries, order allocations, profiles, transportation, and customs documents.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, identify equipment issues, and promote workplace safety.
Recommended Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
- Strong documentation, SOP-writing, and process observation abilities.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.), Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Data entry, inventory record-keeping, and basic reporting skills.
- Familiar with SharePoint or similar document management tools.
- Able to learn/administer operational software (e.g., equipment telemetry).
Analytical & Organizational Skills
- Acute attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking.
- Capable of managing time and priorities in a structured environment.
Communication & Collaboration
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
- Able to train others and support knowledge transfer.
Preferred Background
- Experience in manufacturing/warehouse/supply chain/operations.
- Familiarity with inventory, audit-driven documentation, or process improvement.
- Exposure to quality, compliance, and standardized work (SOX is a plus).

- Report hazards, incidents, and injuries promptly.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Perform quality checks, maintain high housekeeping standards, and support process improvements.
- Use personal protective equipment and support site safety culture.
