Role Overview

Join our healthcare team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients recovering from various surgical procedures, including hip and knee replacements, mastectomies, and abdominal surgeries. Your skills will be essential in promoting positive patient outcomes and supporting their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding nursing care to post-operative patients.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous drips, including PCA and Heparin.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for precise documentation and patient management.
• Float across various campuses as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required (medical and religious exemptions may be considered).
• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact/multistate license is mandatory.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Experience with PCA and Heparin drips is essential.
