Employment Type: 1099 Contract / Per Visit
Compensation: $50-(Private and $55 (Medicare) per visit
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The ideal candidate will help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services according to the established Plan of Care
- Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, endurance, and balance
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, Medicare, and agency regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Florida license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Minimum of 1 year of home health experience preferred
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and documentation standards
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
