Project Manager/Superintendent - Residential (client is hiring for both PMs and Superintendents)
Location: Savage, MN
Salary: $75K-$110K base + bonus (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Superintendent to lead residential construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This hybrid role requires strong construction management, schedule and budget oversight, and on-site leadership to deliver high-quality single-family and multifamily homes, custom and high-end residences. The ideal candidate will balance office-based project coordination with hands-on superintendent responsibilities to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day onsite construction activities, acting as superintendent to enforce schedule, quality, and safety standards.
- Manage all phases of project delivery including preconstruction planning, subcontractor procurement, scheduling, cost control, and closeout.
- Coordinate and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets plans, specifications, and high-end finish standards.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports, RFIs, change orders, and documentation required for permits and approvals.
- Utilize construction management software (e.g., BuilderTrend) and other tools to manage tasks, documentation, and communication.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined Project Manager and Superintendent experience in residential and/or commercial construction, with demonstrated leadership on multi-family and single-family projects.
- Proven track record managing mid- to large-scale residential projects, including custom, high-end, luxury homes, or apartment communities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; client-focused with a professional demeanor.
- Comfortable working across multiple project types including single-family homes, multi-family/multi-family developments, industrial or apartment projects; experience with luxury or custom homes and mansion-scale projects is highly desirable.
