Job description:
Walker's Fresh Foods is a manufacturer of various Salads and more. We are seeking a Production (Food) Associate to handle assembling, mixing, cooking, or prepping food items according to recipes and specifications.

General Responsibilities and Duties:
• Produce safe and wholesome Ready to Eat (RTE) food products in accordance with production schedule, recipes, and work instructions.
• Follow all company rules and regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Follow all regulatory agency requirements including FDA, USDA, Missouri Department of Health, and OSHA.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• Maintain accuracy on all required record keeping.
• Efficiently complete all daily tasks as requested by the supervisor.
• Ensure daily quality, safety and production goals are met.
• Safely and competently operate food production equipment and machinery.
• Report any issues regarding food safety, food quality, or personal safety to a supervisor immediately.
• Finalize and package food for shipment.
• Perform any other tasks as directed by a supervisor.
Job Requirements:
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and respectfully between all team members, supervisors, and management.
• Must work with others in a manner that promotes cooperation and cohesiveness.
• Ability to be flexible with work schedules.
• Ability to work long days during peak production times.
• Ability to work in wet and refrigerated environments.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to work around a variety of food allergens including soy, milk, shellfish, fish, wheat, treenuts, and egg.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• High school diploma preferred.
