Job Description
For our client, a leading company in the USA, we are looking for a Radiology Technologist
Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 per annum + Bonus – Depending on experience
Location: USA (East Coast) - New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia, Georgia, Ohio, Carolina, Florida
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans following physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Position patients safely and accurately to ensure high-quality imaging results while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare and assist patients by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and monitoring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and effective patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation of procedures.
- Follow all safety, quality assurance, and radiation protection standards.
- Support imaging services across various healthcare settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and specialty centers.
Your Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Active state license and ARRT certification (R.T.).
- Proven experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques, radiation safety, and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication, patient care, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
