Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales Executive


Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Representative to join our high performing team. You will be responsible for identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with potential sponsors, negotiating sponsorship packages, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong sales background, and a proven track record in closing sponsorship deals.


Knowledge of USA public sector is a bonus but not a requirement.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential sponsors, analyzing their alignment with our organization's goals, target audience, and events.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to acquire new sponsorship opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential sponsor companies.
  • Present compelling sponsorship proposals and negotiate customized sponsorship packages tailored to meet the specific needs of each sponsor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, events, and operations, to ensure successful execution of sponsorship agreements.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new sponsorship opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, sponsor contacts, and revenue forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand your network and promote sponsorship opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sponsorship sales performance to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement, as well as thoughtful and meaningful event feedback to other project team members involved.
  • Stay informed about our organization's mission, vision, and objectives to effectively communicate the value of sponsorship opportunities to potential sponsors.
  • Effectively manage your daily activity
  • Efficiently plan your campaign (marketing leads and self-generated leads)
  • Consistently execute the sales process framework

About you:

  • Proven track record in sponsorship sales or a similar B2B role, with a strong portfolio of successful deals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop mutually beneficial sponsorship agreements.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple sponsorship opportunities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools to manage and track sales activities (HubSpot preferred).
  • Knowledge of industry trends, sponsorship best practices, and the competitive landscape.
  • Willingness to travel, within North America and work flexible hours as needed.
