Front office is the first point of contact for our patients. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical setting and a strong ability to manage administrative tasks with professionalism and care. Key responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Schedule, confirm, go over and collect financial deposits with patients. Answer and manage incoming calls. Manage patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with administrative task such as EMR updating portals, filing, faxing and scanning. Assist all other staff members in a collaborative manner to insure a team effort in the care of patients and a respectful work environment. Qualifications: High School diploma or some college. Minimum 2 years experience as a medical receptionist within a healthcare setting. Must be able to multitask and accept cross-training direction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Familiarity with insurance verification and medical procedures is a plus. Paid time off and holidays, small insurance stipend to pay on your own insurance premiums. There is no retirement plan at this time but it is subject to change as the practice is under new management.
