Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Milwaukee, WI (Multi-Site Responsibility)

Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and procedures aligned with overarching corporate policies, ensuring alignment with both immediate and long-term business goals.
  • Oversee essential HR operations at designated sites, ensuring the recruitment, development, and retention of talent to support organizational performance.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to lead end-to-end hiring efforts—from role scoping and organizational design to job postings, career fairs, interviews, and final offers—while ensuring compliance with hiring protocols.
  • Support plant-level execution of HR policies, including wage administration in line with corporate compensation structures, benefits guidance, employee relations investigations, leadership coaching, and safety-related HR support.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, offering guidance to business leaders and promoting consistent interpretation and application across the organization.
  • Foster a high-engagement workplace culture by coaching site leaders and conducting proactive employee relations assessments to help maintain a union-free environment.
  • Promote and reinforce organizational values and culture, recommending HR initiatives that align with and strengthen the company’s identity.
  • Partner with site leadership to identify and resolve HR challenges, offering strategic support and guidance to drive effective outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives in organizational design, performance management, and competency development, ensuring alignment with business needs and workforce capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts within the HR function, championing projects that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on key personnel metrics such as hiring trends, internal movements, performance evaluations, and attendance.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of plant operations and workforce dynamics.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR disciplines, including employment regulations and labor law compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in building positive employee relations, fostering collaboration and trust across teams.
  • Proven ability to support organizational change, partnering effectively with business leaders to drive transformation.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving both organizational and individual challenges, using creative and strategic problem-solving approaches.
  • Trusted advisor on HR matters, capable of influencing and guiding stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems such as Kronos; participation in system implementations or upgrades is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Extensive understanding of HR methodologies and best practices, acquired through a blend of education and hands-on experience.
  • Willingness to travel, with flexibility to accommodate varying travel demands based on site assignments.
