We are seeking an experienced Clinical Services Manager to lead a team of clinical solution consultants supporting the implementation of Oracle Health Millennium and related technologies for federal, state, and local government clients. This role focuses on driving successful adoption of new clinical systems through workflow transformation, strategic system design, change management, and team development. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, expertise in clinical operations, deep Oracle Health knowledge, and a passion for advancing healthcare through digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Company Operations
- Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing team of clinical solution consultants across various solution areas including INA, Women’s Health, Pharmacy, Rehab, Phys Track, Behavioral Health, Radiology, and Public Health
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, task assignment, resource planning, and performance management
- Foster a team culture of accountability, collaboration, professional growth, and client-focused delivery
- Develop and sustain best practices for clinical project delivery models
- Act as a clinical consulting subject matter expert for business development efforts to align our consulting offerings with evolving market needs
Clinical Solution Design & Deployment
- Lead and scale enterprise deployment of optimal clinical workflows across complex, multi-site organizations
- Collaborate with client and program partners on current and future-state workflow reviews to inform system design and transformation goals
- Provide strategic advisory insights into clinical solution functionality and content to meet client-specific needs and enterprise-wide standards
- Ensure solution designs are well-coordinated across the team and are aligned with clinical best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key leader on the program management team to ensure coordinated implementation and cascading information sharing between clinical, technical, revenue cycle, training, and project management teams
- Provide clinical subject matter expertise to ensure solution alignment across all phases of deployment, testing, training, and optimization
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to solution adoption, usability, and change fatigue
Client Engagement
- Cultivate trusted relationships with client partners, ensuring alignment between technology adoption and desired health outcomes
- Ensure client objectives are met by aligning technology implementations with clinical, operational, and organizational outcomes
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Oracle Health (Cerner) experience required
- 10+ years of relevant experience required
- Demonstrated experience in a consulting leadership role on Oracle Health (Cerner) implementations
- Prior formal supervisory experience is required – ideal candidates will have supervised clinical solution consultants across multiple projects simultaneously
- Clinical degree highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree (may substitute 14+ years of related experience); Oracle Cerner certification may count as 3 years of experience
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and specialty areas, with hands-on experience in solution configuration
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance of at least a public trust
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across diverse client and partner groups
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
