Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
- Valid VA State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong munication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Caseload:
- provide SLP services to caseloads
- develop IEPs
- evaluate for speech language skills
- write and present reports
- plete progress reports
- keep data
Pay: Hourly, dependent on experience
Performance Responsibilities:
- Identify students with munication impairments.
- Collaborate with other educational staff to determine the impact of munication impairment on student progress.
- Develop and assist in the implementation of instructional and curricular modifications.
- Provide materials that promote munication development to other educators and families. Participate in student IEP development and implementation.
- Develop and maintain a caseload intervention schedule providing time for direct and indirect services, classroom collaboration and co-teaching, screenings and evaluations, materials preparation and voice output device programming.
- Maintain student records and performance data.
- Supervise speech/language-trained para-educator and graduate students as assigned.
- Mentor to new speech/language pathologists.
- Participate as required on Building Student Improvement Teams, speech/language department mittees and projects, special education mittees, projects, or audits.
- Provide in-service to colleagues.
- Must plete all Special Education paperwork including IEPs and Medicaid billing.
