Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician to support a specialty care hospital located in Skandia, MI. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to advanced cardiac care within a 225-bed facility known for comprehensive services including Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Womens Health, and Pediatrics.
Location Overview:The hospital is situated in the central region of Michigans Upper Peninsula, in the city of Marquette. As the largest community in the peninsula, Marquette is vibrant and home to Northern Michigan University, providing a blend of cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities. The area is well-regarded for its scenic beauty and strong community vibe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain and operate complex imaging equipment effectively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies regarding cath lab operations.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist in monitoring during cardiac interventions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician or in a similar imaging role.
- Certification and licensure as required for Cath Lab Tech practice.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and imaging technology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Additional Details:
- Contract position with bi-weekly orientation sessions.
- Local candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be eligible.
- Pay Rate: $64.80 per hour.
