Location: Fort Myers, FL 33916
Assignment Type: Travel (Must reside 50+ miles from permanent address)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possibility to Extend)

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift

• Hours: 37.5 guaranteed hours per week

• Schedule: Flexible start time between 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM

• Shift Length: 8.5 hours with 30-minute lunch

• Weekends: Every other weekend required

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $50 – $57 per hour

Position Overview

A organization is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide clinical nutrition services in an acute care and long-term care environment. The Dietitian will have a primary home base but may be required to float between affiliated campuses based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for inpatient populations

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans

• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Provide nutrition education to patients and caregivers

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

• Float to affiliated campuses when required

Patient Population

• Primarily adults 55+ years

• May include patients across all age groups

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical dietitian experience required

• Experience in acute care or long-term care (LTC) settings required

• Active Florida Dietitian License required

• Ability to float between multiple campuses as needed

Additional Details

• Travel role: must live 50+ miles from permanent residence

• Floating required within the same healthcare system

• Retirement-area patient population with diverse clinical needs
