Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher in Washington, DC. This role involves working within a school setting to support students with diverse learning needs by providing tailored educational instruction and developing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP guidelines

Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Special Education

- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations
- Ability to create engaging, accessible lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
