Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in a closed-door long-term care facility in Foxborough, MA. This role requires expertise in managing medication preparation and inventory in a high-volume environment, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose for timely delivery to residents
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while ensuring proper storage and monitoring expiration dates
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient and medication records
- Work primarily weekday day shifts with rotating weekends (options include 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm)
- Adapt to using Frameworks software system (training provided if needed)
- Manage workload averaging approximately 600 prescriptions per day
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required
- PTCB certification preferred
- Prior pharmacy technician experience, especially in long-term care or high-volume settings
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
