This opportunity is for a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Cambridge, MA. The role involves assisting teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
  • Assist students with academic tasks and behavioral needs, fostering a supportive learning experience.
  • Monitor and encourage positive student behavior and participation.
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt materials for diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student success and engagement.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a paraprofessional or educational support role within K-12 settings.
  • Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and strategies for supporting students with varying needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.

  • Flexibility and patience when working with students of different ages and abilities.

Location and Contract Details:

  • Position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
  • Contract position covering the current school year (CSY).
