This opportunity is for a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Cambridge, MA. The role involves assisting teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
- Assist students with academic tasks and behavioral needs, fostering a supportive learning experience.
- Monitor and encourage positive student behavior and participation.
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt materials for diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student success and engagement.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience in a paraprofessional or educational support role within K-12 settings.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and strategies for supporting students with varying needs.
