Field Service Coordinator (Mechanical)
The Field Service Coordinator (Mechanical) is responsible for coordinating and supporting domestic and international service operations, with a strong focus on hands-on mechanical service and client support. This role manages, supports, and organizes day-to-day service and repair activities, ensuring our customers worldwide receive prompt and reliable assistance. The Field Service Coordinator oversees global technician dispatch activities to deliver on-site support services, emphasizing customer satisfaction and mechanical expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Service Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between clients and service teams, ensuring all service requests are managed promptly and professionally.

Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring technician availability aligns with client needs and expectations.

Client Communication: Provide timely updates to clients regarding service status, estimated arrival times, and any changes to scheduled service.

Hands-On Support: Travel to customer sites to perform mechanical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of Phiston machines.

Mechanical Service & Repair: Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components and systems on-site.

Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, client communications, and service reports within Phiston’s internal systems. Assist in creating SOPs and service-related documentation as needed.

Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve service-related issues independently or with the support of internal resources.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service procedures and improve customer satisfaction.

Reporting: Generate regular reports on service activities, technician performance, and client feedback.

Travel: Travel frequently (at least 35%, up to 50%) domestically and internationally to service client sites.
Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond promptly and effectively to service calls.

Minimum 5 years of experience in field service operations, service coordination, or related roles.

Hands-on mechanical experience—comfortable working with tools, machinery, and equipment in a repair/service environment.

Proven ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.

Skilled in mechanical troubleshooting and establishing effective service practices.

Proactive approach to EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) compliance at worksites and during travel.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Highly motivated, with a fast-paced work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Fluent in spoken and written English; current passport required.
