Innovative Ultrasound Solutions, a sonographer-owned mobile ultrasound company, is seeking experienced and motivated GENERAL and VASCULAR ultrasound technologists to provide diagnostic services to our physician partners throughout Central North Carolina. We offer on-site ultrasound services to local physician offices, clinics, and hospitals. Innovative creates a positive work environment for sonographers with emphasis on your mental and physical well-being. We operate Monday- Friday and provide competitive wages with reimbursements when applicable.

Job details: Part-time, PRN

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent (required)
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Sonography (preferred)
  • BLS Certification (preferred)
  • ARDMS Certification (required)
  • Minimum 2 years experience (required)

Candidates MUST:

  • Demonstrate understanding of all ultrasound procedures and equipment including PACS systems
  • Facilitate patient experience by verifying patient’s identity and clearly explaining procedural processes
  • Provide quality care to patients and performs diagnostic quality ultrasound studies (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Cardiac and/or Small Parts)
  • Have good communication skills, be capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, and adaptable with new and various types of situations and procedures based on patient need
  • Conduct environmental and safety procedures including cleaning and sterilizing the exam room and equipment
  • Evaluate and maintain supply levels and practice safe patient maneuvers
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, which may involve extended commute times
  • Able to meet physical demands of job with pushing, pulling, or lifting
  • Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
  • Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
  • Must be compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Document the patient’s exam through data entry, report retrieval, scanning, and recording the exam details in the Electronic Medical Records systems
  • Board certified licensure through ARDMS (Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular Technology)
  • Minimum 2+ years experience

Pay: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour
