Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available in Aurora, CO, serving students within a special education classroom setting. This contract position requires skilled professionals who can provide direct services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and who possess experience managing caseloads mid-year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students in compliance with their IEPs.
  • Develop, review, and update IEPs as scheduled to meet individual student needs.
  • Carry out case management duties, ensuring all documentation and reporting meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress and adjustment.
  • Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Current Special Education Certification valid in Colorado.
  • SSP (Significant Support Needs) certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to assume mid-year caseloads effectively.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Position Details:
