🔧 What You’ll Do
- Perform MIG welding on aluminum components and assemblies
- Weld using .035 wire in a variety of positions and environments
- Climb into trailers or work inside confined areas when needed
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine weld layouts, measurements, and specifications
- Tack and weld trailer components with accuracy and consistency
- Participate in assembly-related tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace
⚙️ What You Bring
Required:
- 6+ months MIG welding experience
- 1+ year of professional, on‑the‑job welding experience
- 6+ months welding aluminum or steel
- Ability to read blueprints and follow weld symbols
- Ability to take accurate measurements and read a tape measure
- Comfortable climbing into trailers and working in various positions
Helpful Skills:

- Full onsite welding role in a manufacturing setting
- Temperature varies by season (cool in winter, warm in summer)
- General shop environment with welding, fabrication, service, and assembly areas

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
