Position Summary
The Admissions Coordinator plays a vital role as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking treatment. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this role focuses on client engagement, lead management, and coordination of the admissions process. The ideal candidate is compassionate, sales-oriented, and able to support individuals in crisis while remaining calm, professional, and solution-focused while supporting our treatment services in New Hampshire.
This position will work both remotely and on-site in Lauderdale Lakes, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage incoming inquiries from prospective clients and/or families
- Conduct follow-up outreach, maintain communication, and support lead conversion
- Review and update admissions files; create new opportunities for outreach
- Verify insurance benefits (online and verbal as needed)
- Organize and manage all required documentation and e-signatures
- Schedule admissions appointments, assessments, and intake activities
- Support clients and families through early stages of the treatment journey
- Conduct screening assessments and provide summaries to supervisors
- Explain insurance benefits and financial information in a clear and compassionate manner
- Assist with coordination from initial phone call through on-site admission
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions, client services, call center, sales, behavioral health, or related field preferred
- Strong sales aptitude and client-engagement skills
- Excellent verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort and skill working with individuals and families in crisis situations
- Must successfully pass background check and drug screen
