Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000 + medical benefits + performance bonuses

Position Overview

A growing mechanical services company is seeking an experienced Master Plumber to serve as the license holder for the company and help lead the expansion of its commercial plumbing operations in the Dallas area.

This role combines technical expertise, team leadership, and operational support. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of supporting field operations while also helping manage and grow a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Master Plumber and license holder for the company.

  • Ensure compliance with state and local plumbing regulations.

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to plumbing technicians.

  • Supervise and support a team of approximately three plumbers, with plans to expand.

  • Assist with recruiting, training, and mentoring technicians as the business grows.

  • Maintain quality standards across commercial plumbing projects.

  • Provide troubleshooting support for complex plumbing systems.

  • Occasionally perform hands-on plumbing work in the field when needed.

  • Contribute to operational improvements and support company growth initiatives.

  • Communicate with leadership regarding performance, staffing, and operational needs.

Work Environment

  • Work is primarily commercial plumbing projects (approximately 95%).

  • Technicians are dispatched directly to job sites across the Dallas area.

  • This role operates in a remote field-based environment rather than reporting to an office daily.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Master Plumber License (required).

  • Ability to serve as the license holder for the company.

  • Extensive experience in commercial plumbing systems.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to mentor technicians and support team development.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience helping grow a plumbing team or department.

  • Sales awareness or ability to identify service opportunities.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
