Meet Our Partner

Our client is a well-established and highly respected organization within the oil & gas industry, known for their strong operational presence and commitment to maintaining a best-in-class safety culture. With multiple active sites and a stable project pipeline, they have built a reputation for operational excellence and investing in their people.

They are known for attracting and retaining high-caliber safety professionals and offer a collaborative environment where safety is not just a priority—but a core value embedded in daily operations.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Safety Specialist (EHS Specialist) to support field operations and surface facilities by ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and reinforcing a strong, proactive safety culture.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, working closely with operations teams, and playing a hands-on role in safety execution. You will partner directly with supervisors, crews, and leadership to drive safety initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory and company standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support day-to-day EHS activities across field operations and surface facilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry-specific safety regulations

• Conduct field audits, safety inspections, and job hazard analyses (JHAs)

• Partner with operations teams to identify risks and implement practical safety solutions

• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

• Deliver and support safety training programs for employees and contractors

• Track safety metrics and maintain accurate documentation and reporting

• Reinforce a strong safety culture through consistent field presence and engagement

• Support contractor safety compliance and onboarding processes

• Assist with emergency response planning and readiness

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of EHS experience within oil & gas, energy, construction, or heavy industrial environments

• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations

• Experience supporting field operations, surface facilities, or construction environments

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence field personnel

• Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong attention to detail

• Experience with incident investigations and safety reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred (not required)

• Certifications such as OSHA 30, ASP, or CHST are a plus

What Our Partner Offers

• Competitive base salary (DOE)

90% employer-paid medical benefits for employees

• 401(k) with company match

• PTO and paid holidays

• Opportunity to work alongside a high-performing safety team with strong leadership

• Long-term stability with a well-established oil & gas organization

• Clear opportunity for growth within the safety function
