We specialize in providing auto, home, life, and disability insurance to educators and school staff, helping them protect what matters most. We’re seeking a motivated and personable sales assistant to join our team and support our mission of delivering exceptional service and education-focused outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Outreach: Visit school sites to promote our services, conduct engaging staff meeting presentations, and host Lunch N Learns. These events involve providing lunch for school staff while educating them about our company and offerings, encouraging requests for more information and building lasting relationships within the education community.
- Sales Support: Prepare and present insurance proposals for interested parties, educate clients on policy coverages to ensure appropriate protection, and facilitate sales of auto, home, life, and disability insurance products.
- Customer Service: Assist existing clients with policy updates and inquiries, such as adding new vehicles or drivers to policies, addressing general insurance questions, and ensuring smooth resolution of service requests to maintain high client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences in educational settings.
- Customer service experience, preferably in insurance or a related field.
- Sales aptitude with a focus on building relationships and educating clients.
- Knowledge of insurance products (auto, home, life, disability) is a plus; training will be provided.
- Reliable transportation for school site visits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., insurance licensing) preferred but not required initially.
