Job Description
Title: Medical Lab Technologist
Location: Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48382
Shift: Mid Shift (15:00 - 23:00) (5*8 shift)
Duration: 12 weeks + probable extension
Pay Rate: $35/hr - $39/hr
Experience: Medical Lab Technologist, 1 years of experience
Education: Associate Degree
License/Certifications: ASCP
Duties:
- Collect and process patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
- Perform laboratory tests in areas like hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology
- Analyze test results and ensure accuracy before reporting
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Follow quality control procedures and safety protocols
Skills:
- Specimen collection, handling, and processing
- Laboratory testing (hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology)
- Operation and maintenance of lab instruments/analyzers
