Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Supervisor to join a fast-paced ophthalmic healthcare organization based in Roseville, California. In this Contract to permanent role, you will oversee patient service operations, ensuring exceptional customer interactions and efficient scheduling processes. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the customer service team to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee patient appointment scheduling processes, including reminders and follow-ups.
• Coordinate new patient registrations, verify demographic information, and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Ensure accurate insurance verification and compliance with federal and state healthcare programs.
• Monitor staff adherence to organizational policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, enhancing their customer service skills.
• Collaborate with physicians and administrative staff to optimize scheduling and operational workflows.
• Utilize Epic EMR software to manage patient records and scheduling efficiently.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Implement quality assurance measures to maintain service standards and improve operational efficiency.• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare or customer service setting.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance programs, including Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other federal/state options.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR software or similar healthcare management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and train staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical insurance or healthcare customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to exercise sound judgment in complex situations.
