Job Description
This general labor position involves production and assembly tasks. The role includes assisting maintenance technicians with various preventive measures to ensure work orders are completed on time. You will be responsible for operating multiple machines daily and assembling value-added agricultural engines like power generators, radiators, furnaces, and intercoolant systems/cooling modules. You'll also work with companies similar to Case, using hand and power tools to complete tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate multiple machines daily as part of the production and assembly process.
- Assist maintenance technicians with preventive measures to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Assemble agricultural engines and cooling modules using hand and power tools.
- Read blueprints and illustrations to assemble products to specifications, typically following around 30 steps.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of general production/assembly experience.
- 1+ years of experience working on cars/automotive.
- Mechanical is essential.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with automotive mechanics and repairs.
- Familiarity with torque tools.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a small facility with approximately 15-20 people, including a 5-6 person assembly team. The shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime starting at 6:00 am and partial workdays on Saturdays if necessary. The attire includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and a plain t-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Urbandale, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.18 - $19.18/hr.
