Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire
Shift: Day Shift (5x7-Hour)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $140,689/year
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Lab Supervisor (Chemistry) for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex laboratory testing and analysis within the chemistry lab
- Supervise daily laboratory operations and ensure workflow efficiency
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results and reporting
- Oversee quality control procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor and manage laboratory staff performance and productivity
- Support and guide laboratory personnel with technical expertise
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for lab operations
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support diagnostic and patient care needs
- Assist in process improvements and operational enhancements within the lab
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant clinical laboratory experience
- Strong experience in Chemistry Lab operations
- Supervisory or leadership experience within a laboratory setting
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage lab operations and staff effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or Physical Sciences
- OR Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar laboratory setting with supervisory experience
- Licensed/Qualified Clinical Lab Technologist (CLT)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
- 2+ years of experience overseeing laboratory operations
