Are you a carpenter looking for a long-term home with a top-tier construction firm in Scenery Hill, PA? We are currently seeking reliable Cabinetry Finishers for a Temporary and Temp-to-Hire, full-time position in the Scenery Hill, PA area. This is a unique opportunity to show off your positive attitude and carpentry skillset in order to transition into a permanent role with our customers.
Role Details
- Status: Temporary and Temp-to-Hire (Opportunity to transition to permanent role after 6 months)
- Location: Various Residential and Commercial project sites across the Scenery Hill, PA and Greater Pittsburgh areas
- Pay Rate: $20-$30 per hour, depending on field experience
- Schedule: Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week) with potential for overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Apply high-quality finishes, including stains, paints, varnishes, and lacquers to custom cabinets and casework
- Prepare surfaces through meticulous sanding, cleaning, and repairing wood imperfections to ensure a flawless topcoat
- Operate and maintain professional finishing equipment, such as HVLP spray guns and industrial sanders
- Perform color-matching and custom design work to ensure uniformity across all components, including doors, shutters, and trim
- Conduct final quality control checks to ensure all finished products meet the highest craftmanship standards
Qualifications
- Experience: Any carpentry trade school or construction field experience
Requirements
- Reliable Transportation to local job sites
- Must have own hand tools and proper PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, work gloves),
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working from heights
