Accountant I


We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including payroll, cash management, and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Process payroll, generate related reports, and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate employee compensation.

- Prepare miscellaneous deposits for the Operating Account and electronically deposit all checks received.

- Manage deposits from local clinics, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

- Process checks and ACH transactions efficiently and securely.

- Prepare standard month-end journal entries to support financial reporting.

- Perform reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

- Oversee the preparation and control of fund transfers between accounts.

- Follow organizational policies to receive supplies and equipment for administrative purposes.

- Contact vendors to resolve order shortages, overages, returns, and other discrepancies.

- Oversee office supply orders in accordance with organizational policies.

- Calculate provider hospital and in-clinic income as part of financial oversight.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and general accounting functions.

- Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and month-end closing procedures.

- Proficiency with accounting software and electronic banking systems.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and processing.

- Effective communication skills for vendor interactions and internal coordination.

- Ability to follow organizational policies and procedures diligently.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional finance or accounting certifications preferred.
