Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide urgent and critical care in the Emergency Room department in a highly regarded hospital located in Converse, TX. This contract position offers an opportunity to work a 13-week assignment supporting an established team dedicated to exceptional patient care in a fast-paced ER setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care, including procedures such as conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watches, sepsis management, stroke interventions (including TPA administration), and chest pain alerts
- Document patient information accurately using the Meditech system
- Float between units as per facility policy, demonstrating flexibility in patient care coverage
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes
- Comply with hospital policies regarding dress code, attendance, and professional conduct
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Required certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Preferred: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and Meditech experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
Shift Details
- 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and/or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
- Every other weekend required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
