Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or classroom assistant is highly valued
- Comfortable working one-on-one or in small group settings with students

- Patient, compassionate, and proactive in responding to student needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant college coursework preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
- Provide academic and behavioral support to students under the teacher’s direction
- Monitor student progress and document observations as needed
- Support students with special needs, following individualized education plans (IEP)
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Supervise students in different settings, including classroom, lunchroom, and playground
- Help facilitate the integration of classroom routines and reinforce positive behavior
