High-End Residential Builder

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field operations on high-
end residential construction and remodeling projects throughout Southeastern
Connecticut.
This role requires a skilled builder with a strong background in fine residential
construction, finish carpentry, and site leadership. The foreman serves as the on-site
leader responsible for maintaining quality, coordinating trades, supporting project
schedules, and ensuring that every phase of construction meets the highest
professional standards.
Our projects demand precision craftsmanship, thoughtful coordination, and exceptional
professionalism. The ideal candidate takes pride in building beautiful homes and

Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership
 Lead day-to-day construction activities on high-end residential projects
 Coordinate subcontractors and internal crew to maintain workflow and schedule
 Ensure jobsite safety, organization, and professionalism at all times
 Communicate daily progress and field conditions with the Director of Operations
and project leadership
 Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed jobsite
Quality Control
 Maintain strict standards for finish quality and craftsmanship
 Review completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and company
standards
 Identify and resolve construction issues before they impact schedule or quality
 Support detailed execution of architectural plans and interior design
specifications
Carpentry Construction Execution
 Perform and oversee high-quality finish carpentry and detailed construction work
 Execute framing, layout, blocking, and installation of architectural elements when
required
 Ensure precise installation of millwork, trim, cabinetry coordination, and specialty
finishes
 Support complex residential construction assemblies with attention to detail
Project Coordination
 Assist in coordinating subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries
 Review drawings and scope details to ensure proper field execution
 Support schedule adherence and proactive problem solving
 Document progress, field conditions, and change requirements when needed

Client Trade Interaction
 Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, architects,
designers, and trade partners
 Maintain a respectful, calm, and solutions-oriented jobsite culture
 Ensure subcontractors understand expectations for quality and professionalism

Qualifications
Experience
 7+ years experience in residential construction
 3+ years experience in a foreman or lead carpenter role
 Experience working on high-end custom homes or luxury renovations
Skills
 Advanced knowledge of residential construction methods
 Strong finish carpentry skills and attention to detail
 Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
 Excellent problem-solving ability in field conditions
 Strong organizational and leadership skills
